This comprehensive course covers all the necessary knowledge and skills to work effectively as a Foot Care Nurse, whether you're new to the field or currently providing care. The program prepares you to work in various settings, including client homes, care facilities, and clinics. It offers in-depth training, providing everything you need to confidently pursue a career in foot care nursing. To enroll in the Advanced Nursing Foot Care course, you’ll need internet access, an active BC nursing license, and the ability to attend clinical dates on location. Out-of-province nurses must secure a temporary BC license, and eligible students can apply for the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant for funding up to $3,500.

The Foot Canada Training Portal for Nurses

The Foot Canada Training portal offers a variety of courses for both new and experienced foot care nurses, including the Advanced Foot Care Nurse Theory Course and the IPAC Fundamentals for Foot Care Nurses. These courses are designed to help healthcare professionals stay up to date with emerging foot care standards, gain practical experience, and deepen their knowledge of foot health, particularly in diabetic care.
